One month after her father's passing, Pele's daughter offered a heartfelt remembrance of him.

After a protracted fight with colon cancer, the Brazilian superstar passed away on December 29 at the age of 82 at the Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital in Sao Paulo.

One month after the soccer legend's passing, Kely Nascimento paid homage to him on Instagram.

In addition, his daughter Kely Nascimento stated she is still mourning him one month after his death when she shared a series of pictures of herself with her father on Instagram along with a heartfelt note to him in the caption.

‘One month without you,’ she began. ‘A month of many tributes, many tight hugs, many stories told by strangers with teary eyes, a lot of remembering, a lot of crying and a lot of laughter.

‘Today and always, thank you for having shared with me our sense of humor, our enormous head (!), our optimism, our skills to take pleasure in the simple things in life, our work ethic, out love of hotels, airports and airplanes.

The world-famous figure had seven kids in total: twins from his second marriage, twins from his first, and two from extramarital romances. Pele's oldest child is Kely.

At the age of 17, Pele, a young black boy from Tres Coracoes in southern Minas Gerais, guided Brazil to their first World Cup in Sweden.

He continued to play for the Selecao and won two more World Cups, the first in Chile four years later and the legendary third in Mexico in 1970, making him the only player to ever win soccer's top prize three times.

In total, he scored 1,282 goals in 1,366 games throughout the course of his career, including 77 in 92 international appearances.

On November 29, Pele was checked into the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo.

Since having surgery to remove a tumor from his colon in September 2021, he has experienced renal and prostate difficulties.

Before the King's casket was taken to Santos, where he played for 18 years, and carried down the touchline at Vila Belmiro stadium, Brazil observed three days of state mourning.
