Chelsea completes the acquisition of Noni Madueke from PSV.

Noni Madueke has been officially acquired by Chelsea from PSV for a reported sum of £29 million.

The 20-year-old has signed a seven-and-a-half-year contract with the Blues for £30.5 million, with an additional 12-month extension option available to the club.

Madueke, an English winger, transferred from Tottenham to PSV Eindhoven in 2018.

Following the loan signing of Joao Felix and the permanent acquisitions of David Datro Fofana, Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar, Benoit Badiashile from Monaco, and Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama in Brazil, Madueke became Chelsea's sixth acquisition of the January transfer window.

Reportminds Blog understands that Chelsea's new owner Todd Boehly has vowed to invest in the club.

The American business tycoon took charge as new owner along with his consortium after British government took over from Roman Abrahamovich due to his political affiliation with Russia.

When the Blues play Liverpool on Saturday, Madueke may or may not make his debut for the team. This is because the forward may not be registered in time for the clash.

Chelsea travel to Anfield on Saturday afternoon, where they face Liverpool at exactly 1:30pm GMT.
