Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal is apparently a target for Real Madrid in the near future.
El Nacional, a Spanish publication, claims that Real Madrid is keeping an eye on attackers who may succeed captain Karim Benzema as long-term successors.
According to the article, Florentina Perez, the president of Real Madrid, believes that Jesus will be a "wonderful successor" to Benzema.
Jesus has contributed six assists to his five goals this season.
But because of an injury sustained at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Brazilian international has not played for Arsenal since November.
Although the 25-year-old is anticipated to return to action in late February or early March, Real Madrid has continued to keep a tight watch on him as Benzema's replacement.
