Xavi, the manager of Barcelona, has responded to transfer speculation that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a striker for Chelsea, would return to the Nou Camp.
The 30 years old striker has been reported to be unhappy with his current situation at Chelsea since he arrived.
Aubameyang has continued to struggled under Graham Potter, a side side he joined at the beginning of the season in August last year.
The 33-year-old Aubameyang, who left Barcelona and moved back to London last summer, has sparked speculation in the Spanish media that he might be on the verge of making a speedy comeback to the Nou Camp.
Xavi Hernandez also expressed his desire for Memphis Depay to stay with the team.
It's been gathered that Manchester United, who are looking for a striker to replace the now-departing Cristiano Ronaldo, have been linked to the Dutchman.
When questioned about the alleged transfer on Wednesday, the Spaniard responded that he was content with the team he had and had instructed the club's board to keep it that way.
“We are happy with the squad. In principle, there will be no changes. There has been no meeting.
“Depay? We do not know anything. We will see what happens. I told the board that I’d be happy if the squad remains as it is.”
