Gareth Bale, a former forward for Wales, Tottenham, and Real Madrid, has announced his retirement from the game at the age of 33.

At Real Madrid, the 33-year-old attacker won three LaLiga championships and five Champions League crowns.

Bale spent his last MLS season at Los Angeles FC. He was a member of Wales' World Cup team that traveled to Qatar in 2022.
