Gabriel Jesus, who is still recovering from knee surgery, appears to have given Arsenal a big lift by posting a picture of himself on the field.
The 25-year-old striker hasn't played for the Gunners since before the World Cup, when he was injured while playing for Brazil and tore his medial ligament.
Arsenal has adapted without Jesus better than anticipated, but this will be a major boost.
Jesus has been updating Gunners fans on his health, from getting rid of the crutches to working out while wearing a knee brace.
Jesus has already added another update on his comeback to his Instagram story, much to the delight of the team's supporters.
Jesus posted a boomerang video of himself returning to the field in London Colney while sporting football boots.
Captioning the post, he simply said: “After eight weeks.”
The final game before the World Cup in Qatar, a 2-0 victory away at Wolves, was Jesus' penultimate appearance for the north Londoners.
The former Manchester City forward has missed seven games across all competitions since having surgery.
Although Eddie Nketiah has thrived in his absence, scoring six goals to overtake him as the team's leading scorer this year, Arsenal don't seem to have missed him.
However, with Arsenal aiming to win both the Premier League and the Europa League, his return to the team cannot come soon enough. The season will end in a frenzy.
