Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni named the Best FIFA Men's Coach 2022

The Best FIFA Men's Coach 2022 award has been given to Lionel Scaloni, the head coach of Argentina.

In 2022, he guided Argentina to World Cup success in Qatar.

If you recall that Lionel Scaloni side didn't start their campaign at World Cup well, recording shock defeat against Saudi Arabia on opening group game.

But Argentina bounced back to wins against Mexico and Poland before they secured their qualification into the round of 16. 

Ahead of his announcement as men's coach of the year, Lionel Scaloni has already put pen to paper on a new contract with the Albiceleste. 

Earlier today, the Argentine national team coach agreed to sign new contract which will keep at the job until 2026.
