Five minutes before halftime of Barcelona's Europa League playoff game against Manchester United at the Spotify Camp Nou on Thursday night, midfielder Pedri was forced off with an injury.
Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro, two Manchester United opponents, were spotted checking on the injured Spaniard at the Spotify Camp Nou during the first half to see if he was alright.
Sergi Roberto was brought on in the 41st minute to replace the Barcelona rookie who had made his debut against the Red Devils.
The tie will be decided in Manchester on Thursday after the two European powerhouses shared four goals in the second half after the first half ended scoreless.
Barcelona is already without Sergio Busquets and Ousmane Dembele due to injury, and now Gavi is suspended. Pedri may also be absent. The 20-year-old was replaced in the first half, and Barca head coach Xavi Hernandez confirmed it was a thigh injury.
After playing host to Cadiz in La Liga on Sunday, Barcelona will travel to England the following Thursday to face Manchester United in the second leg.
