Barcelona will sign Chelsea's N’Golo Kante at the end of season

Barcelona, a Spanish club, is set to make a move to sign N'Golo Kante when his contract expires this season.
Ngolo Kante appears to be an open target for Barcelona, who are likely to pursue free transfers next summer.

The Blaugranas wanted Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso from Chelsea last summer, but only one of them succeeded, even though both players had one year left on their contracts. Despite this, the Blues were successful in persuading Azpilicueta to remain with the team.

In this instance, their intervention shouldn't be a problem at all; Barcelona will just need to beat the competition. After a summer and winter of intense recruiting, Chelsea is content with Kante's departure this summer. They are unlikely to offer him a new contract because they no longer consider him necessary.

Kante has been a target for the Blaugrana for some time as a possible replacement for Sergio Busquets in the event that the seasoned player decides to leave before his contract runs out. He is well-liked in Can Barça, according to Sport, but fitness is a concern.

Kante's influence has diminished since he turned 31 and has been out since the start of the season with a hamstring injury. They will not commit to a pursuit until they have evidence that Kante is fully recovered—he is scheduled to return to action in February.

Kante's style would significantly differ from that of the current captain if Busquets left. Busquets is well-known for his ability to build plays from deep, which Kante does not possess. In addition, it would theoretically give Barcelona more cover against counterattacks.
