David De Gea is confident that Manchester United has enough depth in its roster to function without Casemiro, who is out on suspension.
The Manchester United goalkeeper has named a player who could replace the suspended Casemiro ahead of their EPL clash with Leeds.

The Brazilian 30-year-old midfielder, who has excelled for the Red Devils this season, is suspended after receiving a red card in the 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace.

After grabbing Will Hughes by the throat, Casemiro will be sidelined for the following three domestic games.

Goalkeeper De Gea also thinks Marcel Sabitzer is "ready to play" in Casemiro's absence.

Following Christian Eriksen's long-term injury, the Austrian international was added on loan in January.

Marcel Sabitzer who is 28-year-old joined united on a season loan deal from Bayern Munich on deadline January transfer window.

Due to Casemiro's suspension and Eriksen's absence, Sabitzer will probably start the next three domestic games.

It was gathered that Sabitzer came off the bench late during United's game against Palace on Saturday.

De Gea said: "It's going to be tough for sure. We already lost Christian, now Casemiro: big players for us.

"But we have a bigger squad, players are ready to play, everyone is really focused.

"Sabitzer showed already – he played 15 to 20 minutes and he did really well, made some good tackles, he is good with the ball. And, everyone is ready to play."
De Gea added on Sabitzer: "He's an experienced guy – he played a lot of games in the Bundesliga, is a nice guy – it's good for the dressing room.

"It's not easy to come in a game when we're one man less, he showed good spirit, he's going to help the team a lot."

Following the Europa League matchup with Barcelona, in which Casemiro is eligible to play, United's next two Premier League games are against Leeds rivals.

Then, after serving the remainder of his suspension against Leicester, he will be eligible to play in both the second leg of the tie against Barcelona and the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle.

However, Sabitzer seems prepared to step in for the Brazilian, and after making his debut, manager Erik ten Hag praised him for his understanding of the game.
