After recording yet another victory in the Carabao Cup final, David de Gea has surpassed Peter Schmeichel's record for consecutive clean sheets at Manchester United.

The Spain international goalkeeper arrived at Old Trafford on 2011 and formed part of a Premier League title-winning squad under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Against Newcastle on Sunday at Wembley, David De Gea assists Manchester United in a 2-0 victory.

Gea keep his 181st clean sheet for United, which represents a new record for the club. Legendary Danish shot-stopper Schmeichel now sits second on that list, with there still many more outings for De Gea to take in at 32 years of age.
The Spanish international was seen posing with the shirt number 181 with his team mates inside the plane as they head back to Manchester.

In another snap, David De Gea posed with his manager Erik Den Hag and the rest of the coaching crew.
