Eric Holder, the assassin of Nipsey Hussle, was given a 60–life sentence.

The defendant who was found guilty of shooting rapper Nipsey Hussle dead received a sentence of 60 years to life in prison on February 3 in a courtroom in Los Angeles. 22.


For the shooting death of Nipsey Hussle on March 31, 2019, in a parking lot outside the rapper's South Los Angeles clothing store, Eric Holder was found guilty of first-degree murder in July. He was 33.


Judge H. After hearing from a friend of Hussle's and reading a letter from Holder's father, Clay Jacke delivered the verdict on Wednesday.


The most recent postponement of Holder's sentencing hearing was in November. 3. The judge rejected Aaron Jansen's request to have Holder's conviction reduced to manslaughter or second-degree murder in December, so the defense lawyer's request to postpone the sentencing was one of the reasons.


After two additional people were hurt during the shooting, Holder was also found guilty of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter.

Hussle, real name Ermias Asghedom, and Holder shared the same gang, the Rollin' 60s, when they were young.


Holder approached Hussle outside of his store, The Marathon, and opened fire, the prosecution claimed, out of anger over accusations that he was a snitch.


A minimum of ten blows were delivered to Hussle. Deputy District Attorney John McKinney told the jury that Holder then kicked him in the head and ran away.
