After 16 years in Europe, Marcelo has returned to his first club Fluminense.
Real Madrid legend Marcelo has signed on with Fluminense after his contract with Olympiacos expired.
If you recall that the Brazil international contract with Greek side, Olympiacos was terminated after few months at the club.
Marcelo joined Greek side at the beginning of the season on a free transfer after he left Real Madrid.
Upon his exit at Los Blancos, he became the player with most trophies after he won the La Liga title and UEFA Champions League with Madrid last term.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Marcelo has already put pen to paper with his boyhood club and he will travel to Brazil this weekend for his unveiling.
Fabrizo Romano also hinted that Marcelo wasn't close to joining his former team mate, Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
