Former Arsenal star Lacazette scores his 17th goal of the year for Ligue 1 giants in France.

On Wednesday night, French Ligue 1 side, Olympique Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette keeps up his impressive goal-scoring form.

In their remarkable Cup de France victory over LOSC Lille football club, the French striker's spectacular goal was the difference.

During the summer transfer period, Alexandre Lacazette moved to Olympique Lyon on a free transfer after he left Arsenal at end of his contract. 

Since his return to his old club, Lacazette's career seems to be on the upswing. This season, he has been among the top players in the French Ligue 1, and he has been a complete machine for the team.

In the eighth minute, Olympique Lyon's Rayan Cherki scored the game's first goal, and Alexsandre Lacazette doubled the advantage in the twenty-first.

For the away team, Jonathan David scored in the 29th minute to make it 2-1 at the end of the first half.

Before Olympique Lyon's 4-2 victory in the ensuing penalty shootout, Edon Zhegrova's equalizing goal for the opposition came in the 64th minute.

Following the 31 years old striker goal against LOSC Lille, Alexsandre Lacazette has now scored 17 goals for the team across all competitions.
