Since his record-breaking departure from Benfica at the deadline, Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez has played every Premier League game for the Blues.

The World Cup winner has demonstrated obvious signs of his talent, but the Blues have yet to truly experience the Fernandez who ruled the international stage in Qatar.

It's been gathered that Chelsea and Graham Potter have identified the player to solve Fernandez struggles in the midfield.

Recall that Enzo Fernandez performance against West Ham at the London Stadium was without a doubt his best as a Chelsea player. In the visitors' impressive first half, Joao Felix was selected by Fernandez to score his first goal since joining on loan from Atletico Madrid in January. That goal was the only one that the Blues scored in February.

Mateo Kovacic, Conor Gallagher, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have all had chances to play with the Argentine, and Denis Zakaria played a 30-minute cameo in a midfield duo with Fernandez against Tottenham this past weekend.

According to Reportminds.com, Chelsea would like to see Kante and Fernandez together when the latter returns from injury.

The club is now extremely confident that N'Golo Kante will sign a new contract, so the situation with Kante's contract appears to be getting closer to being resolved.

Kante has just returned to training after being injured since last year August. The French man missed the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

But the return of N'Golo Kante will be huge boost for Potter side who are struggling in 10th position in the Premier League table.
