"He was uncomfortable" - Guardiola confirms Haaland injury blow ahead of Arsenal clash

Erling Haaland may not play for Manchester City when they travel to Arsenal for their next Premier League matchup, according to manager Pep Guardiola.

In their Sunday 3-1 victory over Aston Villa, Haaland was taken off at the break.

Guardiola was questioned following the game regarding the Norwegian striker.

“He was uncomfortable and couldn’t continue,” he said.

When asked if Haaland would be fit for their top-of-the-table clash against Mikel Arteta’s men, Guardiola replied: “We will see how he is. “We will assess him and if he’s not fit, we will play someone else.”
