The 23-year-old has been sidelined since sustaining the injury on January 17 during a winter friendly loss to Juventus at the Emirates. He has missed Arsenal's last seven games across all competitions.
Nelson's preseason quadriceps injury has limited him to just seven games this season.
Nelson led the way with two goals and an assist in that 5-0 victory over the Tricky Trees. He also provided the assist for Eddie Nketiah's goal in Arsenal's 3-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion in the third round of the EFL Cup in November.
Nelson has now fully healed from his thigh issue and is back with his teammates for training at London Colney ahead of Saturday's Premier League matchup with Everton at Goodison Park.
However, with Fabio Vieira and Leandro Trossard also on hand in reserve, Nelson's return expands Arteta's options in attack while Gabriel Jesus continues to be sidelined due to a major knee injury.
Thomas Partey should be fine after suffering a knock to the ribs, and Emile Smith Rowe will also need to be evaluated after missing last week's FA Cup loss to Manchester City due to a thigh problem. However, Mohamed Elneny will be sidelined for the remainder of the season after undergoing knee surgery.
Nelson has now made 55 appearances for Arsenal and has six goals and six assists.
The English winger was seen posing with his team mate Eddie Nketiah at the London Colney.
The two Arsenal youngsters exchanged a warmth embrace as they prepare for Everton clash.
