The FA has brought charges against BOTH Manchester United and Crystal Palace for failing to maintain control of their players during their match last Saturday.
The 20-man melee broke out halfway through United's 2-1 victory at Old Trafford's second half.
And it led to Casemiro's dismissal after the Brazilian appeared to place two hands on Palace player Will Hughes' throat.
The incident happened because Jeffrey Schlupp's reckless challenge on Antony infuriated the United players.
Raphael Varane, Fred, and Casemiro were particularly enraged at the tackle when a melee broke out a few moments later involving all of the outfield players.
The former Real Madrid player ultimately overstepped his bounds and was sent off, earning a three-match suspension.
His absence has already been expensive for Erik ten Hag, who has fallen further behind in the title race after Tuesday night's 2-2 draw with Leeds.
It's been gathered that the two clubs have received fines and have until Monday to respond.
The FA statement read: "Manchester United FC and Crystal Palace FC have been charged following a mass confrontation between their players in the 67th minute of the Premier League fixture on Saturday 4 February 2013.
"It's alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour, and it's also alleged that Manchester United FC failed to ensure its players refrained from violent behaviour.
"Manchester United FC and Crystal Palace FC have until Monday 13 February 2023 to respond."
