Mason Mount future in doubt after Chelsea rejects his triple wage demands

Mason Mount's future at Chelsea is in jeopardy after he turned down a new deal.

According to reports, the club has rejected the English midfielder's pay requests.

Mount wants to triple his weekly salary to £80,000, which would be in line with the contract Reece James signed in September.

According to Reportminds Blog, the Blues may have to sell some of its academy graduates in order to comply with Financial Fair Play.

Mount's bad performance isn't helping matters. He has only made one direct goal contribution since October 16, scoring against Bournemouth in a 2-0 win on December 27.

Mount's current deal expires in 18 months, giving him plenty of time to strike an arrangement.
