According to BBC News Pidgin, the deceased Ghanaian player Christian Atsu's body has arrived at Kotoka International Airport in his nation.
Recall that the former Chelsea forward passed away due to a strong earthquake that occurred in Turkey.
Christian Atsu's body was discovered and later declared dead by his football agent after being searched for in the rubble for days.
The player's body was discovered 12 days after the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria and claimed more than 44,000 lives, according to his agent Nana Sechere.
Atsu, a 31-year-old Ghanaian international who had previously played for Chelsea, Everton, and Porto, was with Turkish Super Lig team Hatayspor at the time of his passing.
