Presiding officer mistakenly shares her selfie on INEC IReV instead of result sheet

In place of her polling unit's result sheet, an Abia State presiding officer uploaded a selfie to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Result Viewing (IReV) portal.

This was announced on Monday, February 27, by journalist Jaafar Jaafar via Twitter.

The (IReV) platform was developed by INEC to enable real-time transmission of election results from polling places to the central collation center.

Its goals were to make the electoral process more transparent and less likely to be manipulated during the voting process.
