SA Rapper AKA shot dead by drive by at club

AKA Kiernan Forbes, a well-known South African rapper, was fatally shot on February 10 at his birthday party in Durban, South Africa.

According to reports, the renowned rapper was shot at 10 p.m. outside the restaurant where he had dinner with some of his friends.

The rapper intended to spend his birthday night at the YUGO nightclub in Stamford Hill.

In addition to AKA, another of the rapper's close friends was killed in the shooting, and his bodyguard was also hurt.

AKA was born and raised in Cape Town, and in 2011 his debut album, Altar Ego, which included the single "Victory Lap," helped launch his career.
