Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli's in-form duo, were once again at the center of everything good for the Italian league leaders in their crucial UEFA Champions League round of 16 matchup away to Eintracht Frankfurt.
It was time to reaffirm their credentials after their very impressive performance in the group stages, so they traveled to Germany for the first leg against last season's Europa League champions.
The best first-half highlights, as expected, came from Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen. Late in the first half, the Nigerian striker earned a penalty for the visitors, giving his team the ideal chance to go ahead.
As usual, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia stepped up to take the penalty, but Kevin Trapp made a good save to prevent him from scoring.
The winger attempted to keep his head down in disappointment after missing the penalty kick, but Victor Osimhen ran up to him and told him to look up.
Osimhen was the one encouraging him to move on from the incident and continue the game rather than being upset that Kvaratskhelia missed the penalty he won.
The Nigerian forward gave Napoli the lead and saved Kvaratskhelia's face moments later with a goal. He continued his outstanding form for the Naples team as evidenced by the goal, which showed his superb movement in the box.
