The 51-year-old, who took over as Everton manager when Frank Lampard resigned, stood by as his team defeated Arsenal at Goodison Park.
Everton won the game courtesy to a second-half goal by James Tarkowski.
The win lifts Everton to 17th place in the Premier League rankings.
After the game, Dyche told BT Sport: "The players are the main focus for me; they are everything." This week, they have taken a lot. We observed today that the minimal effort needed is the maximum effort.
