Reece James celebrated Chelsea's victory on social media with a subtle jibe aimed at Borussia Dortmund

On social media, Reece James celebrated Chelsea's victory with a subtle remark about Borussia Dortmund. Borussia Dortmund, their opponent in the last-16, won the first leg in Germany by a single goal, but Chelsea won the second leg at Stamford Bridge with two goals without a response to secure their place in the next round.

James was a slight doubt going into the match because of a tight hamstring that kept him from playing in the weekend's victory over Leeds.

If you recall that Potter confirmed in his pre-Dortmund press conference that a decision regarding James would be made on the day of the game. Despite some concern, James was included in the starting XI and would play the entire 90 minutes.

Fans of Chelsea have rarely seen the explosive James they have come to know and love since he returned from injury at the beginning of February.

Dortmund have a history of Champions League defeats in England, and despite their recent ups and downs in comparison to Chelsea, they were unable to break that unwelcome pattern on Tuesday evening.

The stars of Chelsea celebrated the victory on social media:"11 out of 12 ain’t bad… Welcome to Stamford Bridge."

The Chelsea's full back post appears to be about Chelsea's defeat to Dortmund, which ended Dortmund's winning streak and gave Edin Terzic's team an 11-game winning streak.

The post could be target at Bellingham who threw James to the ground late in the game at Stamford Bridge.

Jude Bellingham was left frustrated as his Dortmund side could manage a shot on target against Chelsea who looked dissent on the evening.
