Arsenal's Mikel Arteta nominated for EPL manager of March for 5th time this season

The Premier League has nominated Mikel Arteta for Manager of the Month for March.

After guiding Arsenal to four victories in a row in March, the Gunners' manager is leading the frontrunners for the prize.

If the Spanish manager wins following the combined votes of the general public and a group of football experts, it will be his fourth victory this season and sixth overall.

After victories against Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Crystal Palace, Arsenal finished the month with a perfect record, scoring 14 goals to increase their lead over the competition by eight points.

Mikel is anticipated to face opposition from a four-man shortlist that also includes Pep Guardiola of Manchester City, who won both of his games, as well as Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton & Hove Albion and Unai Emery of Aston Villa, who both earned seven out of a possible nine points.
