In order to advance to the competition's quarterfinals, Antonio Conte's team is reportedly seeking to overcome a 1-0 first-leg deficit.
The game is expected to kick off at 9pm GMT but it will now be delayed for another 10 minutes.
Due to heavy traffic on the way to the stadium, it was reported that Tottenham Hotspur and their opponent, AC Milan, arrived up to 30 minutes late.
The situation is a carbon copy of Tuesday's match between Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund, which was also postponed ten minutes because the Bundesliga team was late.
Chelsea overcame their own 1-0 deficit to advance to the next round, something Tottenham will be hoping to do. Tottenham will hope the comparisons don't stop there.
According to Football Italia, Stefano Pioli, the manager of AC Milan, stated to Amazon Prime Italia that he had asked for the game to be postponed.
Pioli said: 'We asked for the game to be postponed by 10 minutes, but haven’t had a response yet.
'It is an important appointment, we want to get through to the next round and will face this match with great energy.'
