Édouard Mendy, a goalkeeper for Chelsea, has returned to first-team practice as of yesterday (Tuesday).

Graham Potter can breathe a sign of relief after Mendy makes his come back from injury.

It appears that the Senegal international has recovered fully from his surgery.

Mendy had surgery on his finger in early January, which caused him to miss the previous two months of work.

During Mendy's absence, Kepa Arrizabalaga reportedly started every game.

The Senegal international has played in only 11 games for Chelsea this season due to knee issues.
It's been gathered that the 31-year-old contract extension with Chelsea have stalled.

Mendy and Chelsea board are yet to resolve the future of the goalkeeper who currently has a year left on his contract.
