Enzo Fernandez seems to be justifying the huge price of his transfer fee with his recent performance for Chelsea.

On Saturday afternoon at the King Power Stadium, Enzo Fernandez made a significant contribution for Chelsea in their away Premier League encounter against Leicester City.

Two of Chelsea's three goals in Saturday's 3-1 win against the Foxes were directly contributed to by the Argentina National.

In addition to making a lovely cross pass that resulted in Chelsea's second goal against Leicester City, he also set up the opportunities that led to Mateo Kovavic's volley, which gave Chelsea their third goal against Leicester City.

With his assist against Leicester City on Saturday, Enzo Fernandez has now contributed to two Premier League goals for Chelsea since joining them on the last day of the January transfer window.

If you recall Enzo joined Chelsea for world British transfer fee from Benfica in the January transfer window.

Following his outstanding performance for Argentina at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar where he won FIFA young player of the tournament, he has attracted interest from several European clubs.
He assisted Joao Felix in Chelsea's 1-1 draw with West Ham United in a Premier League game played at London Stadium in February, giving him his first goal-related contribution for the Blues.

Enzo Fernandez now has two assists for Chelsea in the Premier League after picking up another one on Saturday. Enzo Fernandez has just been at Chelsea for two months, yet he already has the same season total of assists as Chelsea's top assisters.

With two assists for Chelsea in the English Premier League so far this year, Enzo Fernandez has already surpassed Conor Gallagher, Kai Havertz, Reece James, Mateo Kovavic, Christian Pulisic, and Hakim Ziyech, who each have one.
