Bayern Munich has given an explanation for why they fired Julian Nagelsmann.
During the current international break, the 35-year-old was sacked as the Bavarians' coach.
In the early hours of Friday, the board of Bayern Munich surprised the football world by firing manager Julian Naglesmann.
Goal claims that Nagelsmann was never contacted by the Munich team while he was on vacation, thus he only learned of his dismissal via social media.
It has been said that his on-field and off-field problems, which he was unable to control for the team's sake, contributed to his already tense relationship with the board.
The team's performance in the Bundesliga suffered as a result, as they lost to rivals Bayer Leverkusen right before the international break.
Despite Bayern Munich's stellar performance in the UEFA Champions League, the board seems to have been dissatisfied with Nagelsmann's management abilities, particularly off the field.
Bayern director Salihamidzić explains why they fired Nagelsmann: “After thorough analysis of the sporting development of our team, especially since January and with the experience of the second half of the previous season, we have now decided together to release Julian"
Bayern Munich has already announced that Thomas Tuchel has been hired immediately.
It has been heard that the former Chelsea manager will oversee Monday's practice.
