"My head is not in it" - What Paul Pogba told fans after his latest injury setback

Paul Pogba's Juventus misery has continued as his season has taken a turn for the worst due to an injury sustained in training. The midfielder has been heard telling fans that his "head's not in it" in recent weeks.

Pogba sustained a minor injury to the adductor of his right thigh while practicing free-kicks in training, according to the Serie A giants, who also stated that he may not return to play until after the forthcoming international break.
While the 29-year-old has already begun his recovery from his injuries, he cut a desolate figure when Juventus supporters greeted him outside the team's Turin medical facility.

After just 35 minutes of action this season, Pogba provided an unsettling update on his condition at the club. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a video shows him apologizing to supporters and saying, "Sorry, my head's not in it."

Pogba was supposed to return to Juventus in the summer, but instead of doing so, his career has been dogged by challenges brought on by injuries and disciplinary problems.

He missed the World Cup with France due to a knee injury that necessitated surgery at the beginning of the season, and his recovery suffered more setbacks before he made his season debut in Juventus' 4-2 victory against Torino at the end of February.

After that, he played as a substitute once more against Roma before being left off the roster for their Europa Cup match against Freiburg because he was late for a team meeting.
After announcing he would return to Juventus for a second stint, Pogba signed a four-year contract as a free agent in the summer. His contract paid him an estimated £8.8 million per year.

At the conclusion of the campaign, Pogba has a few straightforward alternatives. He may choose to stay and complete the last three years of his lucrative deal, or, as stated by La Gazzetta, he can leave the club and look for a new start somewhere.

Another option would be for Pogba to renegotiate his existing contract by decreasing his compensation expectations as a sign of compassion for his limited playing time this season.
