Eden Hazard, a star for Real Madrid, has disclosed the whole nature of his strained relationship with Carlo Ancelotti.
Due to Ancelotti's decision to keep Hazard out of the starting lineup, Hazard said that he and the Italian coach don't speak to one another.
A dismal period at Real Madrid for the 32-year-old has been brought on by injuries and inconsistent play.
In 2019, the Belgian paid Chelsea €100 million to join Real Madrid. But the Howard had been struggling with injuries and loss of form.
Despite being in good physical condition, Hazard has yet to participate in a single minute of La Liga or Champions League play since his return from the World Cup.
Eden Hazard who is now 31 years old has now spoken out about the circumstance and said he would prefer to remain at Real Madrid through this summer.
“I would like to stay. I have always said that. I hope to play and to show that I can still do it,” Hazard said, as per reports from Diario AS.
“People have doubts, that is normal, I understand. But for me, I am still here next year. You never know, but a transfer is not in my plan.
“There is respect between Ancelotti and I. But I am not going to say we talk to each other, because we don’t. But there will always be respect.
“I have to have respect for a guy like Ancelotti. For what he represents in football and for what he’s done in his career."
It's been gathered that the former Chelsea forward has a year left on his current deal at Real Madrid and he expects to run down the contract.
Hazard, 31,has insisted he won't be leaving the Santiago Bernabéu this season.
