Juventus star Paul Pogba suffers another injury setback in training

Paul Pogba's latest injury might keep him out for up to 30 days.

Injuries have plagued Pogba since he returned to the Italian powerhouses from Manchester United in July 2022, and he has played in just two games, clocking in at 35 minutes each.

According to Juventus, the 29-year-old Pogba "has sustained a low-grade injury to the adductor of his right thigh" and has begun the recovery process in preparation for his return to competitive play.

According to Sky Italy, Pogba's thigh injury will keep him out of action for 20 to 30 days.

The French international is reportedly going to miss the chance to play for France in their qualifying as well as their final matches before the forthcoming international break.

Adrien Rabiot scored twice as Juventus defeated Sampdoria 4-2 in their Sunday Serie A contest.

Pogba was scheduled to play 30 minutes against Sampdoria, according to Juventus coach Allegri, but his injury prevented that from happening.

Speaking after the game, manager Massimiliano Allegri told DAZN: 'This morning Pogba was taking free kicks and felt a twinge in his adductor. He will have tests tomorrow but will certainly not be there on Thursday or next Sunday so we'll see him after the break for international duty.'

From 2012 and 2016, the midfielder played more than 120 times for Juventus before transferring to Manchester United.

Pogba returned to Juventus last summer on a four-year contract for an estimated £8.8 million per year, but since his return, he has had physical issues.

Due to a knee injury sustained two weeks after signing, the Frenchman's debut was delayed. He eventually had surgery, which prevented him from competing in the World Cup.

In the end, he made a recovery, but last week, he was dropped from the squad for the Europa League match against Freiburg due to a disciplinary problem after arriving late for a team meeting. Pogba sat in the crowd and saw the 1-0 victory.
