Mykhaylo Mudryk, a winger for Chelsea, has disclosed that Oleksandr Zinchenko, a star for Arsenal, and he often make jokes about London's color.
The international from Ukraine joined Chelsea in the January transfer window for a reported £88.5 million cost after Mudryk made an impression during his 18 months at Shakhtar Donetsk.
“He helped me a lot. I like him so much. We often joke about Arsenal, Chelsea and what colour London is,” Mudryk told Sky Sports.
“But I like this guy, he is a very funny and very kind guy. We spend time always [together] in a positive way.”
Asked what colour London was, Mudryk replied: “Blue.”
Prior to Chelsea acquiring Mudryk, rumours circulated that Arsenal was also interested in signing the winger and had made two offers.
Mudryk, a member of the Ukraine side that will play England at Wembley on Sunday, has lauded England's all-time leading scorer Harry Kane ahead of the game. He has failed to make an impression at Chelsea since his arrival in the winter.
