The Manchester United attacker, who has scored 18 goals in 25 games across all competitions since the World Cup, withdrew from Gareth Southgate's squad on Monday due to injury after suffering an injury during his team's FA Cup quarterfinal victory against Fulham last weekend, which they won 3-1.
While neither United nor the FA have acknowledged the nature of the ailment or its severity, insiders maintain that the issue is real and significant enough to exclude his selection.
On Thursday, Rashford posted a photo of himself resting in New York while wearing sunglasses, a snood, and a white bag that is estimated to be worth $2,700.
