Mikel Arteta prepared to sell seven players in the summer

According to the UK Sun, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, is ready to let at least seven players depart the team this summer.

Nicolas Pepe, a record acquisition for the Arsenal, will go first in line.

In a £72 million agreement, Pepe moved from Lille to the Emirates in 2019. Just 16 goals have been scored by the Ivorian winger in 80 league games for the team.

The Ivory Coast international is on loan at Nice for the current campaign.

Seven players are now on loan and might be cut permanently, including Pepe.

The other three are Premier League players Albert Sambi Lokonga, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, and Cedric Soares.

Alex Runarsson plays for Alanyaspor, Pablo Mari plays for Monza in Italy, and Nuno Tavares is with Marseille.

Conclusion:

Whenever those contracts expire, all of the players can find themselves hunting for new teams.

Mikel Arteta looks to be assembling his own squad at the Emirates stadium and may not be eager to collaborate with the individuals mentioned above.
