After eight successful seasons with the Merseyside club, Firmino is reportedly going to decide not to renew his contract, which is about to expire. He will leave the club this summer.
According to SkySports, the 31-year-old directly informed manager Jurgen Klopp of his decision and had positive conversations with him on Friday.
Firmino has now decided to leave, and Klopp reportedly wanted to work with him beyond this summer. His next move is still up in the air.
In 2015, Firmino finished his move from Hoffenheim in a £21.3m bargain. Since then, he has played 352 games and made 107 goals and 78 assists, earning him the title of club icon.
The Brazilian striker has scored 78 goals in the Premier League in 2019 to become the highest-scoring Brazilian striker ever.
Firmino has won seven titles with Liverpool, including the Premier League title and the Champions League title in the 2018/19 season.
Despite his struggles with injury, Firmino scored nine goals and had four assists in the 2022/23 season.
