Osimhen discusses his goals for assisting those who are disabled in Nigeria and all of Africa.
Victor Osimhen has said that Sadio Mane is an inspiration to him and that he wants to assist the disabled in Nigeria and all of Africa.

Osimhen, who is now in Nigeria, talked about his humanitarian goals during a news conference in Abuja on Friday before the team's match against Guinea-Bissau.

While elaborating on his personal ambitions, Osimhen disclosed his desire to assist those with disabilities on the continent. The striker said he hopes to imitate Sadio Mane, who is renowned for his charitable activities for the people of Senegal.

“I am inspired by what Sadio Mane does for his people, even if mine will be a different project," Osimhen said, per GetfootballNewsItaly.

"He helps the Senegalese community and I want to help all the people with disabilities not just in Nigeria, but in Africa. I am ready to give life to my support project and I want to do everything in my power.”
Osimhen, one of the top strikers in the world this season, broke Simy Nwankwo's record for the most goals scored by a Nigerian in a single Serie A season with 21 league goals (20).

The 21 goals also tie the record set by Samuel Eto'o for the most goals scored by an African football player in a single Serie A season. This is the time to break a record that has held since the 2010–11 season.
