What actress Omotola Jalade said after she shares photos from her polling unit

On March 19, 2023, veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde uploaded pictures of herself at her voting place on her Instagram stories.

The actress joined the group of well-known Nigerians who have declared their participation in the March 18, 2023, gubernatorial election.

Omotola said that despite the minor difficulties, the election procedure at her voting place proceeded well.

She wrote: "It was nice and easy. A few hiccups here and there got handled. Peaceful voting at my unit".

The All Progressives Congress (APC) had the lead with a total of 206 votes in Omotola's voting unit 023, according to a video she also uploaded showing a polling official at her location counting ballots.
