On Sunday, Liverpool defeated Manchester United humiliatingly 7-0 at the Anfield stadium.

Against Liverpool in the Premier League, the Red Devils fell to one of their greatest defeats.

In the first half, Cody Gakpo's goal gave the hosts a one-goal advantage over Man Utd.

In the second half, Liverpool scored six goals against helpless Manchester United to make the score 7-0 at halftime.

Gakpo, Salah, Nunez, and Firmino all performed admirably as the hosts routed clueless Man Utd to a 3-1 victory and earned match points. Erik ten Hag, Man Utd's manager, has spoken out about what led to their humiliating loss to Liverpool. During an interview with BBC Sports following the match's conclusion, he disclosed this information.

Erik ten Hag: “You can lose a game but not in this way. Also, the second half is... unprofessional that is not Manchester United”.

Ten Hag claims that the team lost the match because of the players' lack of professionalism and unacceptable performance. He noted that the players had a respectable first half but a significant deficit in the second. He said that the players didn't want to play together. The manager of Manchester United made it clear that he is enraged by the game's outcome, noting that the players had badly let themselves down.

He added: “It can't happen, we have to talk about it. I saw 11 individuals losing their heads. This was not Manchester United”.

Ten Hag said that he was shocked by the score of the match because his team had won their previous games despite being resilient and having a winning attitude.
