Davido Adeleke, a legendary Afrobeat performer, discusses his improved friendship with Wizkid and announces their impending joint concert tour.

Recall that Wizkid previously announced plans to tour with David Adeleke, which caused controversy.

In a recent interview, Davido confirmed that he will in fact be joining the singer on a concert tour. He acknowledged that it may not take place this year, but perhaps the next.

He continued to talk about their connection while saying that Wizkid had been supportive and maintained in contact with him every week.

“Yeah, I think probably … we’re in the talk. I think next year because I have to do my tour first; this Timeless album. I think by next year, me and Wizkid will do a record together. Shout out to my brother, he calls me literally every week to check up on me,” he stated.
