Bayern Munich prepared to sell Sadio Mane this summer after bust up with Leroy Sane

Following a heated altercation with teammate Leroy Sane last week, Bayern Munich fined Sadio Mane heavily and are now eager to offload him this summer.

After the German team's 3-0 loss to Manchester City on Tuesday, tensions between the two flared, and Mane attacked Sane in the locker room, prompting other players to intervene.

After the incident, Sane had a lip bruise, and Mane was pulled off the team for Bayern's Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim on Saturday and had part of his £17 million salary deducted.

The severity of the penalty has finally been made public, with Bayern levying the largest fine in company history.

Thomas Tuchel has only managed two victories in his first five games since taking over for Julian Nagelsmann last month, and Mane was absent from Bayern's 1-1 draw at home against Hoffenheim.

Mane will be back in the mix for Bayern's rematch with City on Wednesday as they attempt to stage a stunning turnaround to go to the semi-finals, according to the former Chelsea manager.
