After Graham Potter's sacking, Chelsea have named Bruno Saltor as interim manager.
According to reports, Potter resigned as Chelsea's head coach after the team's loss to Aston Villa on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
Under Potter, Chelsea has won four, drawn five, and lost seven games in all competitions since the beginning of the year.
The next day, Chelsea, who had confirmed Potter's resignation on Saturday, said that their home defeat to Aston Villa had been the last straw.
Remember that Thomas Tuchel stepped down from the position of head coach last year, and although Potter took over, the team is now languishing in 11th place in the league.
Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, Chelsea's co-owners, have officially announced that Bruno Saltor would serve as Chelsea's interim coach for the last 10 games.
Tuesday's Premier League matchup at home against Liverpool will be Saltor's first game in charge.
Who is Bruno Saltor?
Football coach Bruno Saltor Grau, often known as Bruno, is from Spain.
He mostly played right-back as a player. At Espanyol, he started his professional career. He later participated in 128 La Liga games.
Bruno joined Brighton from La Liga team Valencia in 2012. From 2017 to 2019, he made 39 Premier League appearances.
The Spaniard, who had seven fruitful years on the South Coast, is revered as a legend in Brighton. As club captain, he led the team to its first promotion to the top division in 34 years.
Remember that Graham Potter and former Brighton player Bruno Saltor Grau moved to Chelsea in 2022 after retiring at the end of the 2018–19 season.
