After Chelsea's 2-0 loss to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, Graham Potter's chances to be the next Premier League manager fired have been reduced by the bookies.
Potter has already experienced a great deal of pressure at Chelsea, although he momentarily calmed things down with a run of three straight victories before to the break. Nevertheless, this was hardly the answer the head coach was looking for after the late 2-2 draw with Everton cast doubt once again over his future.
This negative sentiment is echoed by the bookies at SW6. The chances on Potter losing his job have dropped from 11/1 to 10/3 on Betfair. That is a significant change from how he began the day, even if he is still not the favorite to replace Brendan Rodgers or David Moyes.
Those predicted to take over as the next permanent hotshot haven't altered all that much in the meantime. Mauricio Pochettino remains the favorite, while Zinedine Zidane is now farther back at 6/1, moving into second place behind former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann.
