In preparation for tonight's match against Manchester City, Granit Xhaka has definitely traveled to Manchester with the Arsenal team.

Sport journalist, Charles Watts provided an update on Xhaka on his YouTube channel, saying that he may very well be in position to start for the Gunners in this crucial match against Pep Guardiola's team.

Xhaka was listed as a doubt by Mikel Arteta in the pre-game news conference, but according to Watts, he has been cleared to travel with the rest of his teammates and Watts anticipates that he will start.

“Team news wise Granit Xhaka is there, he is available he has travelled. That is good news because he missed the game against Southampton on Friday with illness. Mikel was doing the mind games or whatever you want to call it when saying he’s a doubt yesterday, but the expectation was that he was going to play and he was going to be fine and I’m fully expecting Granit Xhaka to start,” Watts said.

This is a huge boost for Arsenal before what will undoubtedly be a crucial game.

Xhaka is one of the Gunners' key players, and with the midfield fight being so essential in this match, his inclusion in the starting lineup could benefit the north London side.

After a standout season, you have to believe that he's more likely to deliver a moment of brilliance than a moment of craziness in this match. However, he might just as easily lose this game for Arsenal by being sent off.
