“I am separated right now. People thought it was a joke but it wasn’t"- Comedian Basketmouth

Nigerian comedian Basketmouth has responded to people who claim that his divorce with Elsie was only a joke. 

The comedian's explanation of his separation with Elsie took some time. 

If you remember, Basketmouth recently shocked a number of his admirers by announcing his divorce on social media. 

Even so, the humorous performer who had been married for 12 years without giving a reason for his choice. 

The contentious comic insisted that he is now divorced from his wife in a recent interview. But he declined to provide further information regarding the divorce.

In addition, Basketmouth affirmed that despite their distinct living arrangements, he and his wife got along well. 

The comedian said:“I am separated right now. People thought it was a joke but it wasn’t. People said is that a way of promoting a show and I’m like you definitely do not know my design.

“I do not bring my private matter on a public space. But it was something I needed to do for reasons best known to me. And yes. We were cool. Everything is fine. We completed 12 years.”
