"I’ll do everything I can to make it right” - Bukayo Saka apologize to fans after penalty miss against West Ham

Following his missed penalty, Bukayo Saka has apologized to his followers on social media.
If Saka had successfully converted the penalty, the Gunners would have defeated West Ham with three points.

The 22-year-old failed to give his side a two-goal lead during the game on Sunday since he missed from the penalty spot.

In the opening 10 minutes of the game at the London Stadium, goals from Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard gave the Gunners a 2-0 lead.

Before Lucas Paqueta was fouled by Gabriel and the Hammers were given a penalty, they seemed to be cruising. Said Benrahma converted the penalty kick perfectly.

The goal gave the underdog hosts a chance to salvage the game, and they made a strong start to the second half. However, catastrophe struck when Michail Antonio was found to have handled Gabriel Martinelli's strike.
The skipper of Arsenal, Saka, missed his penalty attempt wide of the West Ham goal post.

Two minutes after Saka's missed opportunity, Bowen scored a beautiful goal to help West Ham rally from a 2-0 deficit.

Taking to his social media space, Saka wrote: “Regardless of the outcome, I’ll always accept my responsibility. Apologies Gunners, I’ll do everything I can to make it right.”
