Ilkay Gundogan, a midfielder for Manchester City, has been linked to a summer transfer outside of the Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the footballer had just signed a contract with Barcelona.
Despite rumors linking Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona, the midfielder's agent and uncle have emphasized that there is "no agreement" with any other team.
Pep Guardiola's first acquisition at Manchester City was a German player who renewed his contract with the team in 2019.
Gundogan's contract is said to expire at the conclusion of the current campaign, thus he may walk away for free from the Etihad Stadium only one season after scoring the goal that gave his team the 2021–22 Premier League championship.
Ilkay Gundogan has made over 300 senior appearances for City under Guardiola. With the side presently in second place in the league and having advanced to the FA Cup semi-finals and Champions League quarter-finals, he has scored five goals in all competitions this season.
