Mason Greenwood told "friends" He will never play for Manchester United again

There have been concerns about the future of Mason Greenwood at Manchester United. 

The 21-year-old is yet to be recalled back into the team despite the fact that his alleged rape charge have been dropped. 

The UK Sun reported that Mason Greenwood told his mates he would never play for Manchester United again.

According to information, Greenwood's rape and assault allegations were dismissed in February.

However, Manchester United has since started an internal investigation, despite the opposition of a number of the team's senior players to Greenwood's return. 

After the charges were dropped, the 21-year-old forward was supposed to join Erik ten Hag's team. 

However, he has grown impatient with the slow progress, and reports indicate that he may not be able to play for United again. 

 Greenwood is being paid £70,000 per week, but he is not permitted to resume training with the Red Devils.

In the summer of 2025, his Old Trafford contract will come to an end.
