In the Champions League match between Manchester City and Bayern Munich, Erling Haaland had a terrible first half that began with a celebratory error left him with red face.

After he let out a tremendous celebration, Erling Haaland was left wagging his finger after a Dayot Upamecano red card was reversed in the Champions League.

The Manchester City attacker was taken down when through on goal, believing he had reduced Bayern Munich to 10 men. He then joined his teammates in applauding.

Ilkay Gundogan was hailed with joy, but the Norwegian international was incensed when referee Clement Turpin pointed to the offside flag that he had missed earlier.

Fans responded to Haaland on social media after Upamecano, who had a terrible first leg at the Etihad in which City triumphed 3-0, was granted a respite by a close decision.
After Upamecano was found to have handballed in the area later in the first half, Haaland was given a wonderful opportunity to kick off the scoring from the penalty spot.

Surprisingly, Haaland failed to score his 48th goal of the year for City when he mishit his penalty with the score tied at halftime.
Along with Rodri and Bernardo Silva, Haaland scored in the opening leg as Pep Guardiola's team sought to advance to a thrilling semifinal against Real Madrid.

A striker for the Norwegian national team and the German club Borussia Dortmund, Erling Braut Haaland is a professional footballer from Norway. On July 21, 2000, he was born in Leeds, England, where his father, Alf-Inge Hland, was then a football player for Leeds United.

Erling Haaland started from Norway 

Haaland started his youth career in Norway with Bryne FK before transferring to Molde FK, where he made his debut as a professional in 2017. In his first season with the team, he scored 16 goals in 30 games, and he also assisted Molde in winning the Norwegian Cup.

Haaland joined Red Bull Salzburg in Austria in December 2018 and maintained his strong record there, with 29 goals in 27 games during the 2019–2020 season.
